Refund policy: If for any reason a registrant is unable to attend, their registration fees will be credited to the 2012 National Summer Steamup and any clothing that was ordered will be shipped. Room registrations for the Lions Gate Hotel in McClellan, Calif. – $91 per night, any room in the hotel, not including tax – are handled directly through he hotel and must be received before June 15, 2011. While there may be less expensive rooms in the area, your stay at he Lions Gate shows your support for the National Summer Steamup and that you are concerned that it will continue into the future. The Lions Gate provides free shuttle service from the Sacramento International Airport; contact the hotel for more information. *An individual registration is required of all who actually run steam locomotives. Steamers under age 18 must have a paid registration either for the full event or a single day, as appropriate, and must be closely supervised by an adult (who can have a guest registration if they aren't running locomotives). Observers do not plan to run trains but do plan to be in the steam hall on a regular basis and want to visit the dealer room or clinics. Guests are friends or relatives of steamers who expect to visit the steam hall irregularly and who do not want to visit the dealer room or clinics. Not open to the public. **A full steamup registration includes a Saturday night BBQ dinner. Registered steamers may bring guests to the BBQ. Those who are only registered for July 16 and wish to attend the BBQ, must purchase an $22 ticket. ***Dealers who wish to run steam locomotives must also pay the regular registration fee; steamers who wish to sell products must buy a table – there will be no exhibits in the main steamup room. Exhibits will be open 1-3:30 p.m., July 19-21.
